Masterpiece Academy Presentation

Today I went up in front of my English class and and talked about how careers and all are important but what matters to me the most is, friendship. While in front of the class I asked for them to write down how friendly they feel from a scale of 1-5. Once they did this I told everyone to sit next to someone they do not know and ask each other the question, "Why do you hang or spend time with your friends?" Once this was dicussed with one another, I told them to raise their hands to see who shared a similar response or an agreeable one. While their hands were in the air I told the class that from the research I got, what it takes to be a friend is to have things in common, so we have already tooken the first step into becoming friends. When I said this everyone in the classroom liked what I did I felt the tone of the classroom brighten up. After I finished this I told my information I got from surveying the classroom. I said that the difference between a friend and someone you know is that a friend is someone you share things with and trust. We spend time together to interact and have a good time and we like our friends because they understand and we can trust them (According to my classroom's survey). Overall, I was really nervous and doubted myself before the big day but once I got up there and saw their reactions and smiles I loosened up and everything was alright. Thanks for the support Dr.Preston 👍
