Prompt 4

In Young Goodman Brown, the main character known as Young Goodman Brown is shown to be a sweet hearted minded for the people of his village and wife. But throughout the story, the author shows the readers how Young Goodman Brown develops little by little, where finally he is the complete opposite from what Goodman Brown was in the beginning of the story. Meaning, Young Goodman Brown is a dynamic character because in the end of the story he views his people and wife differently because Goodman Brown now knows what they think and believe. The reason in why he changed was because he found out that the old lady was actually a witch. Also because he had to many things going on in his head about seeing his wife, Faith, being burned, but then he goes back home and sees Faith happily, as if nothing had happen. This is important because it shows that Young Goodman Brown experienced a dream in the woods. Which caused him to see the real world or reality of the people of the village by realising what they truly think of him and what they believe.
